A beginning farmer:
A producer who has at least one to two years’ experience or equivalent of farm apprenticeship but no more than 10 years of farming with their own capital at risk.

A small farmer:
A producer who has reported annual gross farm income less than $500,000.

  3. Crop Operating Lines of Credit

  • 100% Financing on Equipment less than 12 Years Old
  • Up to 7 Year Amortization on New or Current Year Equipment
  • 90% Financing on Equipment 12 Years Old or Older

  • Up to 85% Farm Real Estate Financing (Lesser of Purchase Price or Appraised Value)
  • Payments Based up to a 25-Year Amortization

  • Up to 70% Advance Rate on Traditional Row Crops
  • Up to 25% Advance Rate on Produce Crops
