Losing your debit or credit card can be incredibly stressful. Minimize your risk of financial loss and identity theft by following theses recommendations.
Debit Card
If you have a lost or stolen debit card, call us at 844-202-5333, option 1.
Fraud Services
If our Fraud Service Center detects any potential fraudulent activity on your debit card, your card will be locked until verification of authorized use is obtained. If you received a call from the South Georgia Banking Company Fraud Service Center, please return their call to resolve any questionable transactions on your debit card at 844-202-5333, option 1.
South Georgia Banking Company Credit Card
Report a missing credit card immediately to our 24-hour Customer Service number, 1-800-854-7642. We will cancel your card and send you a new one. If your card is stolen, you're not liable for these charges.
South Georgia Banking Company Checkbook
To report a lost or stolen checkbook, call us at 1-888-782-4211.
If possible, provide details about the last check that was written, including the check number and the name of the person or business it was written to. Digital copies of your checks are available through Online Banking.
